The download is a .zip file. Extract it to get the .exe.
Right-click SolanaSniperBot.zip and select Extract All. You'll get SolanaSniperBot.exe inside the extracted folder.
What to do: Right-click the zip → "Extract All" → open the extracted folder → double-click SolanaSniperBot.exe.
When you run the .exe, SmartScreen may show this screen. This is expected for all new software.

What to do: Click "More info" → Click "Run anyway". The app will launch normally.
In some cases, Defender may quarantine the file. This is rare but can happen with heuristic detection.
To restore the file:
1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history
2. Click the blocked item (e.g., "Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml")
3. Click Actions → Allow on device
4. Run SolanaSniperBot.exe again
What to do: Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history → click the blocked item → Actions → Allow on device.
If Defender keeps blocking the file, add it as an exclusion so it's permanently trusted.
Microsoft Defender won't scan items you've excluded.

SmartScreen reputation: Windows flags any .exe that hasn't been downloaded thousands of times. Solana Sniper Bot is new, so it has no reputation yet.
Heuristic detection: Defender's "Wacatac.B!ml" is a machine-learning flag, not a confirmed virus. The "!ml" suffix literally means "machine learning" — it's a guess based on behavioral patterns, not a definitive identification.
Common with trading software: Crypto trading bots, screen recorders, game mods, and many legitimate tools trigger these same warnings when they're new.
Temporary: As more users download and run the app, Windows builds trust automatically. Within weeks to months, these warnings will stop appearing on their own.
